Localization is a platform feature in [Cevoid](https://cevoid.com), a brand engagement platform for ecommerce. It ensures that all consumer-facing interfaces — UGC galleries, loyalty program widgets, review displays, and product tags — are fully localized for each market you operate in.

## Translations

Cevoid translates all consumer-facing copy automatically using AI. Translations are not limited to static UI text — they extend to user-generated content, reviews, and any editable copy within the platform.

Cevoid's AI translates every word your customers see, automatically. When you add or update content, translations are generated without manual intervention.

### Tone of voice per language

You can define your brand's tone of voice for each language individually. Every AI-generated translation follows the tone guidelines you set, so your brand sounds natural in every market.

Any copy your customers see — widget labels, button text, descriptions, program messaging — can be edited and is translated instantly when changes are made.

### UGC and review translation

## Localization features

Beyond translations, Cevoid localizes the full customer experience including product information, measurements, currencies, and legal requirements.

### Product tags

Product information displayed in UGC galleries and widgets stays up to date and is shown with the correct product name, link, and price for each market. When a visitor from Germany sees a tagged product, they see the German product page URL, the EUR price, and the German product name.

### Metrics and imperial measurements

Customers enter and see measurements in their local format. Markets using the metric system see centimeters and kilograms; markets using the imperial system see inches and pounds.

### Currency conversion

Purchases, discounts, and point values convert and display in the visitor's local currency using live exchange rates. No manual currency administration is required.

### Legal

Legal copy and opt-in requirements can be set globally or tailored by jurisdiction. This covers consent policies for content submissions, program opt-ins, and data collection — adapting to requirements like GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), APPI (Japan), and others.

## How it works

Localization in Cevoid is market-based. You define markets in your workspace, each with a language, currency, and regional settings. Cevoid widgets automatically detect the visitor's market and render the appropriate localized experience.
