Category, Collection & Brand dynamic galleries

We're introducing dynamic galleries for category, collection, and brand pages. They work the same way as the dynamic product page gallery you already use: Cevoid reads the page context and shows the right UGC automatically.

These galleries use the page a shopper is already viewing to decide which UGC to show. A collection page can show posts tagged with products in that collection, a category page can follow the category path, and a brand page can use brand data from your product feed. That means you can add one gallery setup and let Cevoid adapt it across your storefront instead of curating every page manually.

This saves a lot of time and reduces manual setup from unique galleries on every page to setting up one gallery that works across your storefront. Product tagging is what connects the content, so adding a single product tag to a post can now power four dynamic galleries automatically: product, category, collection, and brand.

What's new

• Automatic page matching: Use the same auto-detection pattern as product galleries for categories and collections.
• Brand-aware galleries: Detect brands from Shopify vendor data and Google Shopping Feed brand values.
• Multi-language URL support: Resolve translated slugs, diacritics, and locale prefixes back to the right category or collection.
• Per-page pinning: Pin posts for a specific category, collection, or brand when some content should always appear first.

The new dynamic galleries are available under UGC › on-site widgets as default galleries, ready to use right away.
